Centre Gives is coming … May 5 & 6!

Starting at 6 am on Tuesday, May 5th, the Centre Foundation is bringing back Centre Gives, a unique, limited time, online donation event, which runs until 6 pm on Wednesday, May 6th.

This event features dozens of local charitable organizations that serve Centre County with the added incentive of $100,000 in prorated matching funds from the Centre Foundation! YOUR donations go further May 5-6 at! Help SCCT compete for their share of the Centre Foundation’s $100,000 stretch pool, as well as qualify them for $25,000 in additional prizes! We hope that you will join us in making Centre Gives a successful event for the Centre Foundation, and for SCCT!

Last year, SCCT raised more than $3600.00 before the matching contribution from the Centre Foundation.  This year, we’re even more ambitious, with a goal of securing over $5,000 for SCCT!

We’re also aiming for the following special prizes:

Day 1: $1,000 Happy Hour Prize to the organization that has the most unique donors between 6-7pm on May 5th
Day 2: $1,000 Commuter Prize 2 to the organization that has the most unique donors between 7-8am on May 6th

However, that does not mean that’s the ONLY time we want people to donate – there are other prizes given to random donors during certain hours. A full list of prizes is here:

Donate $25 or more to SCCT via the CentreGives campaign.  Funds will go towards a new sound / microphone system for our performances.  We need your support!

Saturday, May 9 at 7 pm at Country Village Restaurant and Lounge in Yeagertown, Pennsylvania!

Saturday, May 30 at 6 pm. at Juniper Village at Brookline in State College, Pennsylvania

You’ve been to weddings where something goes wrong? Try everything. Bruce and Tina face it all. The groom’s snobbish, aristocratic mother, Sylvia, the soloist looks like she’s a Guns And Roses groupie, the judge performing the ceremony is drunk, the wrong tux was delivered to the bride’s father, the photographer is an old boyfriend of Tina’s. Bruce’s old girlfriend interrupts the wedding, and on. A stranger shows up in time to die.

No one is above suspicion in this delightful dinner theatre murder mystery!  More information on both performances available here.
