*ABOUT THE PLAY*

When it comes to Legally Blonde, many are taken back to that perfectly tanned, blonde image of Reese Witherspoon adorned in her signature color…pink! However, since the 2001 MGM motion picture, this lovable movie has gained a diversified fan base. The Legally Blonde that you are about to see isn’t that same original movie that so many remember. It has been updated and modernized for an entirely new generation of ‘Elle Woods’ followers. The creative team of Hach, O’Keefe, and Benjamin, has brought to stage what I consider a truly delightful, yet individualistic musical. The journey from movie to musical has gained a new generation of followers that can identify with many of its original characters. 

This larger-than-life, Red Bull paced, pink bombshell will leave you grinning from ear to ear. Though please know that contrary to its stereotype, this blonde has depth as well. It doesn’t matter if you are a ditzy sorority girl, a university prepster, or a nerdy geek; we take many labels to extreme. In the end, we can all relate.
