The State College Community Theatre (SCCT) is entering our 63rd Season as Centre County’s oldest community theatre presenter. We are seeking advertisements from local businesses and individuals who wish to support local arts while strategically marketing to our audiences through our established theatrical performances. We offer access to a distinct audience: educated, appreciative of art, and supportive of local businesses.
Over the past six decades, our primary goal has been not only to entertain and educate our community, but also to provide a creative outlet for community members in Central PA. We present the best of today’s musicals and plays, showcasing local talent from Centre County as well as our surrounding communities. That is what makes us so unique! Our directors, musicians, singers, actors, costumers, and carpenters are all members of our community – teachers, business owners, seniors, parents, university students, and youth – who have special talents and interests for which their typical day jobs or schooling find no outlet. An SCCT show is as much about our community celebrating its special treasures as it is about the shared storytelling that live theatre facilitates.
SCCT productions attract over 5,000 patrons of all ages from Centre County and beyond over the course of a typical season, and are regularly featured and highlighted on local radio, television, and in print via the Centre Daily Times and the Centre County Gazette. Additionally, we have a substantial social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, with over 2,500 fans and followers across all platforms.
Our Sponsors will be Show Partners, and each Partner will receive opportunities to reach and connect with our established local base of SCCT fans. Sponsorships help us keep our ticket costs low, and let your customers know that your business is committed to making the arts affordable for all.
