2015 Candidates for Board of Directors

Amy Farkas
Amy Farkas has been a member of SCCT since 2010. In addition to acting and providing props for various productions, she also served as production assistant for Cat On Hot Tin Roof. She is the chair of the Operations Committee, is a member of the Play Selection Committee and previously served on the fundraising committee. Amy is the Township Manager in Harris Township.
 
Mike Knarr
This would be Mike’s fourth theater board he’s served on.  He would like to make fundraising and developing programs like the Murder Mystery series his major focus.  He wants to ensure that the high standards of productions continue as they have for 60 years.  He will also bring cheesecake to board meetings.

Marilyn Knoffsinger
Marilyn Knoffsinger joined SCCT in 1982.

Between 1982 and 1999, she served on the board of directors for 18 years, several years as president. She also appeared on stage in several productions and directed 14 musicals and/or plays.  In 2013, she served the end of a one year term on the board.
Professionally,  she taught high school at Bellefonte Area High School for 25 years retiring in 2011.  While at Bellefonte, she directed or was technical director for more than 50 productions and also served several years on the Pennsylvania International Thespian Society Faculty Board.
