Monty Python’s SPAMALOT
|
|||
*ABOUT THE PLAY* Welcome to the wild and whacky world of SPAMALOT! You are about to enter a wonderful realm of absolute nonsense, and we hope you have as much fun here as we have had in creating it for you. If you notice historical or logical inaccuracies, you’re paying attention to the wrong things. Relax and have fun, because way deep down, this show is all glossy surface. If we offend you, we feel we have done our jobs, as long as you can laugh. A word about accents and dialects: in the spirit of Monty Python, we never even tried for real accuracy or “true” regional diction. If that bothers you, just roll with it! This is the Quest for the Grail and what a ride it is! And Oh, and don’t grovel! If there is one thing I can’t stand, it’s people groveling. BRUCE FLEISCHER DIRECTOR |
