*ABOUT THE PLAY*

In Rabbit Hole, still waters do indeed run deep. On the surface of this play, not a lot happens, but under that surface is a rich and turbulent emotional life to be explored. This is a story about how a group of people, both individually and as a group, deal with loss and despair. Each family unit in this play is incomplete, trying to reconcile its loss with the world in which it lives. Each individual in this play has, in some way, lost control of his or her life, and must either regain that control or realize that such control is impossible. For these characters, the past is intolerable and the future is unknowable, so the present moment is all they have. Can they live in this moment or do they retreat from it? It has been a wonderful experience exploring this emotional world with this talented group of actors. We sincerely hope you enjoy our work.
