ABOUT THE PLAY

The Mousetrap is known for having the longest initial run of any play in the world. As of April 2008, it had clocked a record breaking 23,074 performances, and it is still running!

It is the late 1940s, a cold winter day, with blizzard conditions in the English countryside.

A young newlywed couple have just opened an inn and, having absolutely no experience, must deal with a variety of strange and unusual guests. What will happen when they discover there may be a murderer amongst them? Will anyone survive? Is there more than one killer?

Welcome-but be careful you don’t get too caught up in The Mousetrap!

Valerie Gehn, Director

 Performed  June 24-27, 30, July 1-3, 2009
